    hi
now it's time to try the new solodallas pedal to have the Angus tone

but the big pedal would be better for crunch ?

        it's a compressor-booster-enhancer and adds some harmonics with a 30 db boost
        3 versions
the big unit and wireless ? for millionaires
        the big pedal and 12v
        and the new "storm"

Always wanted to try one of these. Keep in mind you need the right amp though, this isn't angus in a box, even if a line in the description says something similiar.

            Re: solodallas pedal

Fil aka "Solo Dallas" had a thread over at the Marshall Forum not too far back where he expounded further about his two different models and discussed his visit with Angus with the pics from the visit. To my way of thinking it's like the compression-boost-harmonics that you would get with a Scholz Rockman X100. It'd probably be a lot cheaper to buy three nano pedals (compressor, boost, and aural exciter) to do essentially the same thing.

I had the opportunity to try one of the towers through a Hot Rod Deluxe. It's Malcolm in a box even when the amp isn't ideal. I've thought about getting the pedal even though don't use pedals anymore.

                Re: solodallas pedal

                i don't want Malcom in a box
i would like whole lotta rosie studio version
the sound of Angus in his versions in 76_79

                "let there be rock" too

i have a Marshall jackhammer so it will be like a boost
but i have not any JMP, JTM

i think it's like a boost +bbe sonic stomp+more harmonics so it's very useful to any pedals /amp
                but it's expensive

Angus used the wireless system too and i think it added some harmonics too

now we have the opportunity to have these kinds of sounds with a pedal but, yes, it will depend on the amp first

one pedal is better than 3 pedals
                  i have a compressor
                  marshall boost
i think i will replace my marshall boost
