Green Rhino: It's definitely a different animal from the Bad Monkey. It's more smoothly saturated while the Bad Monkey stays tight and crisp. So i like them both for different things.
The OCD copy: If I run it through the dirt channels of the JSX, it just takes away from the amp's quality of gain, regardless of how i set it. However, it does a killer job of putting a little bit of dirt on the clean channel through the FX loop. The clean channel already has a Fendery vibe with the long plate 12ax7 and Texas Heats. I can get a good Twin-style breakup without the deafening volume.
