  • MOOG MF Trem vs Earthquaker Devices Hummingbird

I need a transparent tremolo pedal with expression pedal output.

Transparency is important because I want to leave it on.

Which one is more transparent? Any suggestions?

From the demos I've seen, the Moog is a lot more transparent...

Also, I have the Moog, and you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands...

I agree with you according to the demos.

      1) When you set the speed knob at 7 o' clock and expression pedal toe down there isn't audio fluctuation right? As if the effect is shut down.

      2) How is chopper sound of it? (I know Hummingbird is better at this point but MOOG is more versatil.)

Thank you very much for the answer.

I don't know, I haven't had a chance to play around with the expression pedal attached. But, it would depend on what you have the expression pedal set to do - you have choices with the Moog.

Out of curiosity, why are you planning on leaving it on all the time?

It looked easier that way when using tremolo like rotovibe. I'll see which is easier when I play with it a while.

            Dude.

Pedals have on/off switches for a reason.
