As I'm currently doing a PhD on the other side of the globe getting a rig set up is a little hard, but once I get home I have a TC G-System to toy with. It probably can't do the DC-2 thing, but I can't wait to work on fine tuning the chorus on that thing!Comment

I'm not a huge chorus guy, but I can get my original 18v Danelectro Cool Cat to give me something that works any time I use one. Pairs nicely with my Dan-Echo delay pedal too.Comment

I prefer the original Roland chorus in the JC/ CE1.
Until I can invest in a old retro-sonic (best clone I know of), I will stick with my MXR micro. It is brighter than the CE1, but there is something to the single knob rate and whatever it's depth is set to. Whenever I get a chorus with a few knobs, it turns into a jack of all trades and master of none.I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.
