already out of room ha. had to put wireless reciever on the outside edge of board.

nuenaber pedals, tuner, gate and channel switcher are all staples on the board. i prefer channel switcher to be on the board for easier quick switching. i imagine both ehx will stay for more tonal options. only thing i could switch out is flanger.

I actually have a large pedal board that is my 'pedal buffet'; it has my most often used pedals on it, but not connected. When I want one, simply swap it out on my Nano board; this way I can pretend that my pedal board is always complete! =p

You need a separate 'auxiliary' board.

How's that EHX "Satisfaction" fuzz sound?

Im not a huge Fuzz guy. I needed it for a xouple original songs though.

I got it for a couple reasons smaller footprint and price. The main selking point for me was its more vintage sounding. I wsnted something that had fuzz but also shared overdrive characteristics. I didnt want full blown big muff or zvex fuzz factory type, but rather a smooth light version so to speak. Was also looking at fulltone 69 and 70, but satisfaction won out.

I also picked up the Satisfaction and already had a 69. The 69 is nice but smoother overall while the Satisfaction has more cut and is a lot brighter so it has better projection in a band situation.

What year is your Ibanez? I picked up an 83 recently and really dig it for that vintage Buzzcocks thing.

Re: new pedals equal new board

I've been thinking about getting some "Satisfaction" too! It really nails the tone of that riff, and other hits from the '60s and '70s. Gotta love the price!

I bought a Soul Food last year. Haven't made up my mind about it yet.

I have several different Mesas, so I don't mount those pedals to my board. The Mark V pedal is LARGE. If you had to have more room, that Stiletto footswitch would be the one I'd move to the floor.

                    Nice board!

When you've had budget guitars for a number of years, you may find that your old instrument is holding you back. A quality guitar can inspire you to write great songs, improve your understanding of the Gdim chord while in the Lydian Mode, cure the heartbreak of cystic acne--and help you find true love in the process.
