What's the general feeling toward Vertex pedals? I see demos for his Dumble pedal, and the Dynamic Distortion in my Facebook feed a lot, and both sound great. However, it's hard to forget the wah debacle, and Michael Landau's letter following.

It wasn't just the wah, it was also cables and assorted other "rebrandings." Personally I would be very wary of buying anything Vertex unless you can determine beyond a doubt that you are NOT paying double or triple retail for someone else's pedal rehoused or otherwise "modded." -
