I dropped into a little mom and pop store about 45 minutes out of town in a nearby village... to discover they carry Wampler. I go there occasionally when I have time to justify the trip and last time I was there was a few years ago.
After trying a few things (Pinnacle, Dracarys, Sovereign); I settled on the Sovereign. I love how the Mid Response cuts when turned counterclockwise and boosts when turned clockwise. Between that, the boost and bright switches this is one really versatile pedal.
I put it between the 2 KOT clone circuits in my switcher. Haven't tried it with the KOT before the Sovereign yet, but love it after as a boost and tone shaper.
I can't get over how this thing sounds.
