    Mind blown...

It's everything the Boss Metal Zone was supposed to be and fell short on.

Next stop, spring for the AMT S2 and sell this one to someone just looking for a DI box or recording preamp.

Which Preamp is this supposed to be based off of? SLO?

I kind of want to try these out....

      I'm assuming it's an SLO 100 emulator.

It sounds huge plugged into the power amp in on the back of my amp. I'm tempted to get a dual loop switch and their Fender preamp for a 2 channel setup. Lol

Their F1 pedal has that already built in. So you can use the F1 to switch between the F1 and whatever you have in that loop (the one on the left side).

No surprise to me. I honestly believe that AMT has the best distortion and preamp pedals. I'm never getting rid of my SS-11B.

              Re: NPD AMT S1

As Skydogg mentioned, you don't need to get the S2 version if you get the F1, they are built to work together so the F1 already has a loop/switching function to switch between preamps. Or, get the S2 and have the F-style clean channel and the S gain channel in the same pedal.

                Re: NPD AMT S1

If you get the S2 later then it's already got a fender sim built in & activates when bypassed while using the preamp/cab out. It might not be adjustable though.

Edit: Dev beat me to it lol

Glad you’re liking it. I’ve been wanting to try a P1 or P2 for years.

                    Re: NPD AMT S1

I mostly want the S2 for its instrument level output to use as a pedal.
