But I just put this together last night.
I’ll be experimenting with the order.
Those aren’t my usual settings either.
I was rocking it pretty hard last night...just seeing what it could do.“Practice cures most tone issues” - John Suhr

Re: My new Pedalboard!
The KTR has the option of being set for True Bypass or Buffered.
I have it set for buffered.
Should it be first or last in the chain of overdrive pedals?
I do like having the Simble in front of it.
The Route 808 is basically a Tubescreamer.
I don’t see myself stacking them too often.
My idea was simply to have my three favorite overdrive pedals all on one board and set them up for three different sounds.
Four if you include “clean”...which would be all of them, except for the delay, off.“Practice cures most tone issues” - John Suhr

Re: My new Pedalboard!
you can leave the ktr where it is if thats where it sounds best for you. there are no rules about these things and every one says the buffer on the ktr and klons is great. is the 808 true bypass or buffered?

The 808 sounds great by itself. Doesn’t sound so great using it to overdrive the Simble or KTR, but I never planned on using it that way, so no biggie.
The killer sounds resulting from the Simble overdriving the KTR are just a happy accident. Never planned on doing that. It’s too loud doing that, but it is a great sound.
Endless sustain is always fun.Last edited by Lewguitar; 02-21-2018, 01:27 PM.“Practice cures most tone issues” - John Suhr

I've found it more than sufficient fir my rig.“Practice cures most tone issues” - John Suhr
