  • Ian Thornley’s tremolo pedal setup for “The Oaf”?

    Hi all,

Recently went to see Big Wreck live and I was blown away by the intro to “The Oaf” live. Ended up ordering a Suhr Jack Rabbit to experiment with. Has anyone here been able to replicate that sound? If so, was the tremolo ahead of the overdrive, between the overdrive and a crunchy amp or in the loop?

    Thanks!

Killer tune. I got that album my freshman year of college, 1997. That song inspired me to spend a lot of the time I should’ve been in class forking around with my Digitech RP6 tremolo settings. I feel like I could get pretty close.

I’d start with it in the loop.
