  • Patch Bays

    Hey guys,
What is a good patch bay to check out? I'm looking for one that can do Midi, TRS and 3 1/4 inch jacks that can be TS or TRS. I believe TRS will correctly pass TS correct? Meaning a guitar cable to the front of your amp or send and return from your effects loop. TRS would be for amp control as well as Midi could be depending on your amp. Currently my amp requires TRS for amp channel switching but I plan on a Mesa Triple Crown in the future which can be controlled Midi.

    Thanks,
    Dan

You have a Pedaltrain, right? BTPA looks nice.

If you want a box patch bay, I’d build it with an enclosure and components.
    Oh no.....

    Oh Yeah!

BTPA makes good stuff. Last spring I bought new guitar/bass cables and rewired both mine and longcat's boards with their cable.

Which is why many people play electric guitars but very very few of them are actually musicians.

Their solderless cables look exactly like the New Boss Kits

It's entirely possible that BTPA make the Boss solderless kits as they do quite a bit of OEM work.

I used one of the BTPA solderless kits for my board, and the Disaster Area kits are identical except for the printed logos.
