  • Great accessory alert!

    Hey all,

I managed to come across the newish Squareplug SP 400's, which are super thin right angle plugs that are even smaller than the Switchcraft pancake plugs when looking for stuff at Redco. A had some Emerson solderless cables linking all the stuff on my board... and these just sucked from my perspective. Rant on: there's no way of really insuring that you have a great connection with a solderless plug when you have any movements or etc. beyond when you've assembled them and checked them with your meter... rant off. Anyways, the squareplugs are way easier to solder than the Switchcraft pancakes and to screw down too. The square profile is great for side by side jacks like my ADA PBF flanger where the square profile locks them in place, stopping movement. I wired them up with Mogami miniature cable and they're great.

If you're looking at wiring or rewiring your toys, seriously check these out!
Working...
