  • NPD, courtesy of Seymour Duncan

Picked up an 805, plugged into my jam board, pretty impressed with the range of sounds, really got some great tones with a Nashville Tele (w/ SD replacement pickups) into an old Fender Twin, some contemporary country "bite" and some cool blues tones. Impressed with the build quality and electronics layout, nice job, Mr. Duncan!

Congrats! The 805 has outlasted any overdrive I've had, and it is still my #1 choice. I love the top jacks, too...how come that isn't a thing on every pedal?

i like top jacks for pedal boards but frequently im only using one pedal in which case i prefer side jacks. the 805 is a great pedal for sure!

I love my 805, but I also love my plain old standard TS808. I go back and forth between both.

I've gotta say I'm not a fan of the top jacks. In my tiny Pedaltrain Nano with the rest of my side jack pedals, the cables end up all uncomfortably twisted. Same goes for my TC Electronic Eyemaster.
