Usually Wazas take something that is recognized as good and they make it a bit better. Not sure that formula would work for the Metal Zone.--------------------------------------------------------

Re: New Boss Wazas....
YAAAAS they're bringing the DC2 back.
I remember I really liked my original but it did do some funky things to the tone and there was a bit of a volume drop when it was engaged. Other than that it was the best 80's chorus tone ever and you really didn't need any more than the 4 presets.
Can't wait to test this out!

It's more 1975-81 sounding than later "metal" pedals.

Re: New Boss Wazas....
If they bring out a more-expensive MT-2 in an era where at least four different booteek pedal companies exist just because they're building HM-2 clones then Boss is either ignorant or happy to leave piles of money in other peoples' hands.
Chorus sounds bad and so do MT-2s. This is stupid.green globe burned black by sunn

DC-2 is a killer “widener” without being overly cheesy.
MT-2 is a great buffer when off.
I did a good work through of my Metal Zone before selling, it sounded like I remembered so I sold it.
Speculation is that the C mode is HM-2 inspired, but we’ll see.

All effects have their place.
I absolutely hate fuzz, but it doesn’t mean that its a a terrible effect. Just that it’s not for me.Last edited by Gtrjunior; 10-03-2018, 04:00 PM.
