Nice! Iíve been eyeing that one myself lately and thinking it might make a nice little tax refund present to myself. I got their C9 Organ Machine a couple of years ago and use it quite a bit... and yes, even during gigs! Itís pretty handy.

I really like how theyíve nailed the polyphonic thing... makes it so that the single-note-only synths become pointless.

I am thinking about the Mel9, which replicates the Mellotron. This technology will eventually be able to replicate most sample-based synths.

I worked out how to play Jump when I played in my old band, you gotta give that a go!

Awesome, can’t wait for the review.... ie if “regular” guitarists can make it sound good.
              Oh no.....

Played it a bit. Just a quick run through the settings. Definitely some cool usable sounds easily accessible!

Mode 6 solo-synth really got my attention.

Bob, the Mel9 has a really great cello sound.

How is the tracking? And are there any artifacts or glitches if you change technique like the early guitar synths?

It's polyphonic? I'd assumed it was only effective for single notes.

Yes, itís polyphonic... and it tracks beautifully, although thatís probably not the right word for it. This is an oversimplification of how the technology works, but itís truly more like an effect pedal than a synth in that it colors the whole sound (whether a chord or single note). Because of that, it even ďtracksĒ fine with string bends. I donít have that one, but I have the C9 Organ Machine (same technology, different sounds) and itís freaking sweet. Itís REALLY badass when I use it with my 10-string.

                            That's awesome. And terrible.

Now i have to decide whether to GAS for the Mellotron pedal or the sitar one.

I've wanted a sitar guitar for decades.
