Re: NWAPD
Nice! I’ve been eyeing that one myself lately and thinking it might make a nice little tax refund present to myself. I got their C9 Organ Machine a couple of years ago and use it quite a bit... and yes, even during gigs! It’s pretty handy.
I really like how they’ve nailed the polyphonic thing... makes it so that the single-note-only synths become pointless.Originally posted by The Commodores?"Chicken Brown Chicken Brown Cow"

I am thinking about the Mel9, which replicates the Mellotron. This technology will eventually be able to replicate most sample-based synths.Administrator of the SDUGF

Played it a bit. Just a quick run through the settings. Definitely some cool usable sounds easily accessible!Originally posted by Bad City

Yes, it’s polyphonic... and it tracks beautifully, although that’s probably not the right word for it. This is an oversimplification of how the technology works, but it’s truly more like an effect pedal than a synth in that it colors the whole sound (whether a chord or single note). Because of that, it even “tracks” fine with string bends. I don’t have that one, but I have the C9 Organ Machine (same technology, different sounds) and it’s freaking sweet. It’s REALLY badass when I use it with my 10-string.Last edited by BriGuy1968; 10-28-2018, 08:52 PM.Originally posted by The Commodores?"Chicken Brown Chicken Brown Cow"
