  • MXR M68 Univibe................

    Hello Players,
is the MXR M68 Univibe pedal analog or digital? Is it a good Vibe pedal?

TS -it should be Analog -as it's just multiple phasing circuits based on the original 60s effect

Analog. But uses op-amps rather than photo-cells like the original or like the Fulltone Deja Vibe and some other modern vibe pedals.

            Yep.

Uni-Vibe is an interesting effect. You either hear one and think “I could almost get that with a Phaser with a little extr control” or you think “this is amazing and I need the best, most accurate version of it!”
            Oh no.....

            Oh Yeah!

I replaced the Phase 90 on my board with a Fulltone Deja 2 because I really like that extra control. I just wish the vibe wasn't so big or heavy

Which is why many people play electric guitars but very very few of them are actually musicians.

                I appreciate everyone’s response!
My sales guy at Sweetwater finally emailed me back and he said it has a digital circuit?
I wonder if he just pulled that out of his a$$?

For what it's worth, here's a short review from a few years back.

                    Good review!! Thanks.

                    Also,
My sales guy at Sweetwater just messaged me again and told me he called MXR and the Uni-Vibe is all Analog.
