    I’m not a fan of outdoor gigs regardless of the weather. There’s just something about playing outside that doesn’t feel right. The instrument in my hands, that is.

    Yup. I remember playing in the cold with fingerless gloves and trying to warm up my hands between songs. Not doing it again.

    I saw a winter concert in Montreal recently where they had bands inside little plywood huts with only the speakers outside exposed to the cold. Seems like the way to go.

    Even if you cover the pedals and manage to not short any electronics, it's pretty hard to play guitar with cold hands.
