Just ordered some Mooer Candy Toppers in black and white. Anyone else here use these? I decided to switch to these from Barefoot Buttons as I recently discovered the Barefoot Buttons mounting screws dig into the side of the footswitch it's mounted on causing some cosmetic damage (bothersome to me). Plus these Mooer Toppers are alot more affordable than the Barefoot Buttons so I can use them on my whole rig and not spend a fortune.

Let me know how these work out for you. I bought a cheap Chinese knockoff and they didn’t work at all. The switch hole was too deep. -

Theres several reasons for these. 1) In general to make the footswitch button target bigger so they are easier to hit when you need to engage them. 2) The bigger button expands the pressure point area so it doesn't hurt when you engage switches when you aren't wearing shoes. 3) The bigger target also helps so that you don't miss the switch because it ends up between your toes when you go to step on it without shoes.Originally posted by Aceman View Post
