  • fuzz 60s vox solid state sound with pedal

hello there. I'm looking for a pedal that can resemble the sound of 60s solid state vox amps. UL 730 for Beatles or Supreme for rolling stones.
i saw in the internet that the transistor for the fuzz section is the AC125 which is the same used in the fuzz face and in the tone bender.
the only pedal suggested for this sound is the magical misery box but would a fuzz face give similar sound?

Electric Majik Series 7 Overdrive has fewer controls but is fairly Voxy in character and can get fuzzy with the gain cranked. Same pedal used to be called Lumpy's Lemon Drop; costs less than the Mystery Box. Doesn't have room for a battery, though - needs remote 9V power.
