I got this pedal recently, the Mud Killer by Electric Eye Audio.
It's basically a tube screamer but with a lot of added functionality so it can also sound much more aggressive like a Fortin Grind or 33.
You can use it as a neutral clean boost, you can use it as a mild to heavy overdrive but it's most powerful feature must be the mud removal control.
It does a great job of removing all the mud and making your tones sound as tight as you'd need them to be basically.
The amp switch jack is also pretty neat.
This can be handy if you're using a 2 channel amp and for if you want the boost/filter off on your clean channel but turned on when you switch to your drive channel etc.
Anyway, Electric Eye Audio is a small company that definitely deserves a shout out and their pedals aren't expensive.
I made a demo/review of this pedal where I try it on my Orange Dual Terror, EVH 5150III EL34 50W blue and Dual Rectifier.
Check it out:
Has anyone else ever tried this pedal?
