I've had this MFing thing on backorder since it was announced back in The Before Times. Finally delivered today.

    Anything you wanna know?

    How does it sound?
Did they add any MIDI support?
Did they allow you to “reverse” the loop structure?

By the way, super cool you got one!

      -Like all the Toneprint pedals.
-Not that I'm aware of. Not something I've ever really thought about, of I'm honest.
-They've said it's coming. I'm def in favor of it. L-R is super dumb.

I think they are planning on adding a looper. But no drive pedals. I like the idea, but I'd at least like a few drives. The form-factor is amazing, though.

I've never really liked any of TC's drive pedals, so I'm okay leaving them out.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they show up in a later product.

I love the idea of having the MASH pedals, so you don't need expression pedals. I can see building a pedalboard around it...but I'd love to use one as a standalone board.

Yeah, my pedalboard is getting RADICALLY changed by this. I'm especially excited by the ability to set up different boards that patch my drive pedals in at different points, because I've tended to keep an extra reverb pedal on my board just for running in FRONT of the dirt. It's a thing that not a lot of people do, but I actually really like the sound...just not all the time.

I do hope they add the patches from the T2 reverb pedal, as that's been a mainstay on my board for years, but god knows there are plenty to choose from even if they don't.

I'd be interested in hearing about this, as it is probably the closest thing we'll ever get to an update of the G-System. Also, there was a lot of fanfare when if was released, but now I haven't heard anything for months.

                    Not yet, but maybe later?

I think this may be the video you need to see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJvbOLWiYpQ

That does remind me, though, I need to update the firmware. I haven't done that yet.

Updated the firmware. The only obvious addition is the tuner. Maybe I should check the patch notes.

Also, I don't know if TC Electronic has a mailing list for firmware updates, but they are always posted on The Gear Page's Digital forums as the first sticky post.

Looks like the newest firmware actually DID expand the MIDI options a bit. Instead of just being able to change boards via MIDI, you can now (if I'm understanding this correctly) individually trigger each pedal via MIDI. Nothing on controlling individual parameters yet, though. If that's even a thing. Like I said, I really don't know anything about MIDI.

That’s a huge step though. You could have it mounted remotely and access by MIDI with this update instead of just using like a board.

Oh, and now that I think about it, you could effectively use it to change the parameters anyway, because the pedal settings are saved with the specific board. So just have it switch to a new, mostly identical board, and turn on all the same pedals, but with different settings. With 127 virtual boards to play with, there's plenty of room for doing stuff like that.
