  • Who is rocking the new Fender line of pedals?

I am jonesing HARD for a Tre-verb, personally. I have not had the opportunity to play any yet. But man, the YT is full of great clips.

I think the Marine Layer seams pretty bad@$$ as Reverbs go too. I could get an MTG Tremolo and a Marine Layer and have a killer setup. Something about the Tre-verb, including the fact that it isn't a Flint, etc...not that the Flint isn't cool.

So who is playing any of the new Fender stuff?

I haven't seen any in the wild, but they certainly look nice!

I've wanted to try the engager boost since it was released. Looks very well designed.
Ordering it just to try is something I won't do though.
          Anyone using it?

I have seen a few in stores, but not played. The brushed metal is cool....but looks aside, I'd be buying for the sound! Not saying I have NEVER bought/considered looks....just not in this case.

Fender have always had a hard time with pedals. They are never mentioned in 'must have' pedal lists, and every few years they re-design the line. That doesn't mean they aren't good...but they have a hard time resonating with the pedal-buying public.

I know I could get my hands on them for review but I haven't seen anything yet that excited me.

I have it on good authority that several a really good efforts -trem/verb on that list.

Fortunately they do "ok" with guitars and amps...

They just need to have something more "pointy".

That's why they bought Jackson. They don't need to (and probably will never) make anything pointy.

Yeah - the reflecting pool. They have a couple of mega-pedals in there.

I still am Jonesing for this. All the fender Goodness I'd ever want.

Two classic Fender verbs, and a Plate - 63, 65, and Plate
                            Just the knobs you need....

                            This ^%$%% is tight!

If I had room, I would probably get a tre-verb, but currently, I have no use for a tremolo sound and my Source Audio Collider handles my reverb (and delay) needs. I did consider the Fender Reflecting Pool instead of the Collider, but ended up going with the Collider. It also turned out that there's a good chance the Reflecting Pool wouldn't have fit anyway so it all worked out.
