That's nice. I like a bare bones setup. Especially like the a/b/y pedal.

    • its a great setup. i usually use fender reverb amps (like a deluxe reverb) and mod the normal channel to be fatter and have more gain than stock. usually the two channels are out of phase but with that aby i can flip the phase so can have them both on, and the drag control is great too.

        Nice.

Clarifying question. Are all daisy chained powered with a 1 Spot or similar?

        • yes, except for the fuzz. germanium fuzzface circuits need a center positive power supply rather than the center negative power basically everything else needs, so that runs off a battery. the short cable i had running from the fuzz to the od died so until i fix it, the long one will have to do. im sure ill lose points there lol

I'd use the A/B/Y to run two different amps, but I can see where that would work for you.

            • ive run two amps as well, but 90% of the time, im just grabbing one. two drumsets, two guitar rigs, bass, and a keyboard rig take up a lot of space on stage and i got tired of hauling two amps to gigs three days a week a looong time ago

Right, and you get a usable option between the two channels of the amp. Have you ever run both at once?

                • i do that a fair amount. one channel is mid scooped, cleanish, and has reverb. the other is dry, fat, and overdriven though not saturated. audible volume is a touch higher on the non reverb channel. i run one or the other probably 70% of the time but absolutely run both. especially for big solos

                    That must sound massive.

Hard to hate - but not impossible.

                        Overall selection is fine.
                        Love the radial box.

                        That said....

                        1. I would prefer velcro, but The ties are done reasonably
                        2. A white tie on the 69 and a black tine on the full drive would be a better aesthetic.

                        Also, tuck a couple wires.

I honestly think the patina on the wood adds to the 4 pedal zen vibe. "Been there, played that, just need this. All I have ever needed."

                        • wire tuck is legit, and i probably will velcro eventually but zip ties are functional. color of zip tie is a stretch but necessitated by needed length and limiting waste. that wood has a whooole lotta beer spilled on it. im more careful with the whiskey. 100+ gigs a year, for years, gives ya the "Been there, played that, just need this. All I have ever needed." vibe legitimacy
