  • Wah modification

    Hi all,

I recently was given a zakk wylde wah. I really like the second half of the sweep to toe down. Problem is that half the sweep is so deep that it vanishes in a rehearsal situation. Just inarticulate mud. I know people adjust was to take out the high end, but how would I do the reverse? Thanks!

Open it up, loosen the retainer holding the teeth to the pot. Open the pot all the way then tighten the retainer. The adjust to remove high end is the exact opposite of that. It may not take much adjustment of the pot to get what you want. If it's too much wide open, back off a tooth or two.
