First, there is a trimmer pot in the battery compartment... what does it do?

Second, I want to rig the reverb to be on all the time and switch the boost in/out. as made, its both on or off at the same time. the pedal will not work without the 9V battery... it has to be there even on a power supply. I'm guessing that is the reason both effects are either on or off together. to do what I want I expect to either install a switch to break battery power when not in use or (better yet) wire the battery leads into the aux power input.

pretty sure that what I want to do wouldn't be that hard.... those connections are all in the bigger wiring part, not the intricate workins. appreciate any help there,

    anybody have a diagram?

According to this page (via a google search), the trim pot adjusts the decibels of the boost when the pedals engaged. You hadn't turned it to try to figure out what it did? You could always turn it back to where it was.

Usually when a question like this doesn't get a reply, it is because no one here owns that specific pedal. If you don't get a reply here, look on that manufacturer's forum, or send them an email (or call).

actually, it does answer your first question.

as far as separating the effects, that might be tricky and would require someone with a detailed schematic and good circuit design knowledge.

to allow the pedal to work without a battery installed using a power supply should be easy. seems odd that a battery needs to be installed for it to work, dont think ive ever seen that before. i do you by chance have a schematic? i looked but didnt find one
