What is your coolest pedal?

There's a lot of cool pedals out there to the point that it can be a bit sensational at times (no, having a limited color run of a pedal that only comes in limited color runs isn't cool, especially if it's a clone of another circuit) but there are still a few pedals that are just inherently neat. I'd say my coolest is a Foxx Tone Machine. I mean, a sideways fuzz pedal that sounds just like the carpet it's made of? How is that not the coolest thing ever.

Gotta be my Duncan Twin Tube Classic. (Lots of internet pics.) True high-voltage tube drive. Don't know why they stopped makin' this.

i have a stomp under foot silverfoxx which sounds fantastic, but it admittedly doesnt look as cool as the foxx tone machine.

my coolest pedal? maybe the h&k tube rotosphere mkii, tube driven leslie simulator with break, and slow and fast speeds. on fast speed the horn and rotor speeds are independently adjustable so you can really tweak the sound.

I will separate cool from most functional. I have a MOOG Ring Mod that has an exp jack. Everyone that plays with it has a ball. A Ring Mod with a pedal controlling FREQ is fun and bizarro to play through. Don't think I could use it live or in the studio but it is fun as heck.

I don't think any of my pedals are that cool, but I do have a mid 70s Ebow with a tooled leather holster that is still kicking and sounds wonderful.

I would say my Ethos Overdrive pedal is the coolest. Not because of any unique paint job or crazy sounds but based on it's features. It's basically 3 pedals in one.

The things I like about them...

The two Plasma Coils are about the most unique sounding fuzz pedals I have played through. They sound huge, raw, pissed off, and perpetually on the brink of exploding. The OG version has a blend control to bring in clean signal, which I don't use for guitar, but works great with bass. The 3rd man version drops the blend but gives multiple Octave up, and Octave down options which can be added via a switch assignable to either latching or momentary operation.

The Fuzz Bender is without a doubt the most massive sounding fuzz I have ever used. Epic Doom tones are found within.

The Twin Bender is the best sounding and most versatile Tone Bender I have ever owned.

The Foxy Tone is a perfect Foxx Tone Machine clone.

The Java has three perfectly tuned Range Master sounds in one box.

The SansAmp sounds amazing for a very flexible range of boost to overdrive tones, and works great with both guitar and bass.

The Cantrell Wah is vocal and well tuned, and sounds great clean or dirty.

The Black Hole Octaver is a crazy good all analog octave pedal with octave up, down, and sub octave, and dry blend controls, a tone switch to clean it up, and a second footitch to switch in/out the dry blend. It tracks insanely well too.

The Space Rip is a simple yet incredibly flexible and at extremes gnarly sounding analog synth pedal that works great for guitars, tracks well, and has a very small foot print.

The Anonymous Flange is an perfect 1:1 Love Tone Flange With No Name clone, and is an amazingly versatile box with two LFO's with the second one able to be switched in or out of the signal path, and a footswitchable FX Loop devoted to the second path. I keep a Mini-Cry Baby in the loop.

The Echolution 2 Deluxe is maybe the most under appreciated delay pedal set, and apart from the competition by it's Goiden Ratio setting, and an incredible analogue filter section capable of all sorts of phaser goodness amongst other things.

The Fulltone TTE is tape delay perfection. It is the most beautiful, spacious, and lush delay I have ever used. The sense of space it imparts has to be heard to be believed. Finally its preamp is a thing of beauty and makes every amp I have plugged it into sound even better no matter what amp it is. I have used it with my Hiwatt and Reeves Custom 100's, Matamp GT150, Ampeg VT22, Dr Z Rt66. Magnatone Panoramic, and Mesa Tremoverb. Each one just sounded like themselves, but somehow with more richness and sparkle. Split stereo into two amps it envelopes any space with sound and gorgeous decay on the repeats.

Sure it does. I use a foot pedal to switch the delay on and off. Pedal requirement met.

Those plasma things are pretty crazy. If I got one I would probably go for the blend, but I don't think I'll probably end up with one of them

Another cool pedal I have is the DigiTech EX-7 Expression Factory. It doesn't do anything I can't do with the H9/90 but it is fun. The downside it it is not easy to adjust on the fly.
