  • An incoming pedal day of EPICO proportions

Should be delivered today. I have been GASing for this for a while and did say a while back I was crazy about this pedal and finally pulled the trigger.

EDIT: Delivery got bumped to tomorrow. Every time I get something from the West Coast it seems to always get delayed a day.

I have just had a little time to play with it, but so far, I am blown away. The three-way toggle makes it feel like three different pedals, and the parametric EQ on the mids opens up countless tone possibilities.

While I don't agree with the settings you have it at, that's one of the fuzzes I've been trying to get a chance to test out for a while now. Anyone know why it's named after a restaurant?
You will never understand How it feels to live your life With no meaning or control And with nowhere left to go You are amazed that they exist And they burn so bright
Whilst you can only wonder why

It is Mexican for "Super Rich." I set the controls like that because I was checking out the range of the mid-controls. I typically do not like scooped mid sounds, but it is pretty cool like that. I need to spend more time with the pedal, especially with the A8 pickups in my SG, which hopefully will be my rhythm tone for our next recording.

Quite an awesome pedal. Congrats! We look forward to a comprehensive review!

I will say the touch sensitivity is freaking amazing through the Classic 20. I can't wait to play this through my big boy amp.

New Duncan days are usually good days.

                Active tone?

This one has always interested me, but I haven't found one to play. Mids control on a decent fuzz is a recipe for awesome.

I lucked out; I got it for $88, which is less than half of what I usually see these pedals going for. I am loving it, but of course, this is a super busy day, and I have gotten 2-10-minute sessions with it so far. Right now, the three-way toggle has me very impressed. And as I previously have said, the touch sensitivity is awesome. There are some Q-filter-like effects that are nasty, nasally sounding fuzzy. I am getting playing with the mids knob.

Gotta bump this to let you guys know this fuzz is amazing. It adds a whole new dimension and texture to our songs. We had one tune that we felt was too dated and adding the La Super Rica gave it a whole new flavor. If anyone is looking for a fuzz I highly recommend this pedal.
