Beefed up '59 sound in the neck. Screamin' Demon? '59b? PAF Joe?

I've a friend who's looking for a humbucker for the neck of his LP style guitar that has the sound of a '59, but a bit beefed up. He said he was considering the PAF Joe, but I know nothing about it besides what the DiMarzio site tells me, does anyone have some clips/experience? What I thought would give him that sound was a Screamin Demon (though it would probabally be too muddy), or just using a '59b instead of a '59n. Something else I considered would be adding another magnet to his current '59n.
