Re: SH-5 or SH-11 in LP??
id say of the three, the c5 has the most vintagey tone but they are all very nice sounding pups. the custom has the most aggressive, tightest tone. the c5 has a more open top end and bigger bottom with less mids, the cc has a nice smooth top with nice big warm mids. i think the c5 sounds really good into a rec, try different pup heights. i think it sounds best a little lower than i usually set more vintage lp pups

id say SH5.....will have that nice tight bottom end and hot rodded PAF type tone.....

SH-5 or SH-11 in LP??
which of these two humbuckers, SH-5 or SH-11 would fit better for a vintage rock sound (like Thin Lizzy), not too much output but a bit more than
a 59, for bridge position? using a cranked up boogie dual rectifier on vintage dirty channel with marshall TV cab.Tags: None
