  • Was there ever a JB 'set' of pups?

I was just scouring Ebay, and came across this:

and was wondering if there ever was a set of JB humbuckers made?

    Thanx

there was no jb set per se, but the jb and jazz model neck is the traditional combo, being copys of the pup that seymour made for jeff's telegib. ive also seen people use two jb humbuckers in a guitar, dave mustaine comes to mind.
the one sticker that can be seen says jmbj
the last j is the initial of the person who made it, which leaves jmb which i believe is jazz model bridge. i think he might have a set of jazz

Jep, and the other one has no label at all, so it could be almost anything (Likely a Jazz Neck, I think). Ask him to measure the impedance of the one without a label, then we can at least narrow it down.

Besides the Jazz, a SH-6 neck would complement the JB nicely with a magnet change.
