Phase changing.. what?

if i wired a push/pull to change the phase of the guitar, exactly what would the effects be?

You mean changing the phase of a humcuker's pickups in relation to each other, or pickups in relation to other pickups?

Either way, what happens is that the sound from each substract from each other instead of adding. One soundwave gets flipped upside down. You end up with a much thinner, more nasally sound. Try it and see if you like it.
