59 bridge in the neck position

has anyone ever tried this I have a set of 59's and I don't care for the bridge all that much in my les paul so I think I am going custom custom. The other guy in my band plays a les paul as well and he wants to try my bridge in his neck. I just wanted to know if this has ever been done I know the jb works in the neck

yes its been done, and some people like it alot.
it has more bottom, output and isnt quite as bright

I have one in the neck spot and I love it there. I have a Custom in the bridge and they are the best sounding p-ups for this guitar. Its sounds great for shred too. I thought is sounded like crap in the bridge position though.

what do you think of your custom??? I think cc is for me but you never know. Pickups can rule your life
