Does anyone know how to ID Dimarzio pickups from the 70's? I know they were all pretty much just cream colored. This one has no model markings on it.

my guess is that its either a super distortion or a paf. how many wires are there? how does it sound? now that you have a meter, see what it says. if its 13-14k or so it probably a sd or dual sound, around 8k its probably a paf -

The pickup has an extemely warm sound. It does not have that PAF sound. I will check it with the meter. Thanks.Comment
