  • 59 neck and PG bridge: Has anybody tried this?

I was loosing time in the jackson web page when I have found this:

Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

It has a combo with 59 neck and PG bridge. It sounds pretty cool!! Has anybody tried this two pickups together? How does it ballances?

The balance is good with the 59 at the neck and the PG at the bridge. I much preffer the full PG set though.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

Thanks Benji! I just don't know what to do...

I am considering diferent options for my guitar.

Now I am thinking that a pair of Stag Mags could be a nice choice...

I fact I think I want that clearness only a single can give... Thats why finally I ended in the Stag Mags. I want them for the single tone and, may be, the parallel tone.

I am from the NorthWest of Spain, from a little town call "Santiago de Compostela". Have you visit Spain?

If you want a single coil sound, get a Phat Cat. It's a very cool pickup at the neck. I have a full set in my Sheraton and love the clarity and spank I get from all positions. I think that it will also balance well with a PG at the bridge, seeing as how the PC in the bridge and the PGb have about the same output.

I've been to Spain once, I visited Barcelona and Madrid. It's a lovely country, but the Spanish language there is completely different from the one I know ( I know the Spanish from Mexico). I loved it though. The food is great, not to mention the wine
