    anybody ever try a screamin demon in a les paul ? i would thing it would match up nice with a 59n in a maple and mahogany bodied les paul

    A friend of mine had it in a Jackson Dinky with a Floyd and it sounded kind of ice-picky to me, though it did have great lows for palm muting and such. I think it would work well in a LP where it's brightness will give you detail and clarity while still having good lows.

      Worked great in a bandmates LP neck position. Great clarity and surpassed the '59 in my LP even.

        I tried it, it was okay. Great smooth crunchy tone, I didn't care for the brightness (that's personal), but it was very clear.

          I've had a screamin' demon in my Epi LP Junior for about a month, and so far I really like it.
