Okay, all remorse aside, let's get back to the real issue. This dude is looking to improve his tome through replacing his pickups. Tells us again what kind of equipment you have and the tone you want and we'll do our best to give the most fitting advice.

Which is generally good advice. But one thing: Itīs not our company, we are all guests here just like you. Which also means that nobody here gets paid for anything....

If you really need good advice quick, call up Duncanīs customer Support directly. They DO get paid for it, and they know the product line even better than most of us do

I donīt wanna stir the flames, you apologized and I accept that for my part. But just for Infoīs sake, I think youīll actually find more semi-pro or pro musicians and people with guitar related jobs here than anywhere else, save maybe the Musical Instrument Makers Forum

No worries..... I think you'll find that in addition to being the best forum on the net, that this group of guys/gals is one of the most forgiving. You'll get a ton of good advice, and make some friends along the way.

Welcome to the forum SheDoesntDoIt4Me. Trust me, once you get to know everyone they're all very cool. Maybe a tiny bit clique, but that's because we all like SD pickups

Anyway, Gearjoneser recommended the C5/59 combo, and I'd say yup to that. Try a Custom tho - it has a bit bite and mid cut thru, and can sound heavy as a baby's undies with the right amp.

Custom 5 bridge/59neck. Who cares what kind of music you play, it'll sound great.

btw, i post threads threads that gets lots of views but few replies..do i get anal about it? no, because i know that people tend to post in things that interest them and i respect that..people have their own lives you know..also, when people miss your thread, bump it up when its down to the last page or so, instead of flaring up.

Dude, It's the weekend we all have lives that include other things than this forum. Give it some time and you will get some good advice. This is a GREAT place for info and support, so don't knock it untill you give it a chance.

I go to work at 5 get off at 1, stay up till God knows when on the forum. Kinda pathetic if you ask me.
