      Warm in a vintage style bucker would have to be the Alnico II Pro I have at the neck of my Carvin.

        Yup - the APH-1 HB in the neck of my Dean. By warm I think of smooth, no harsh frequencies, even midrange response, highs that aren't brittle at all. Wow, it's harder to describe tone than I think sometimes.

          hot rails in the neck - if its set too high, it can go muddy, but it pulls off the smoothest blues thing ever heh

                        i had a stock tele neck pup once that was just warm and fuzzy all over...

                        but my fave is also the A2P humbucker in the neck of my i1...it's pure sweet butter!
