Are '59s available in F-spacing?

Re: Are '59s available in F-spacing?

The '59 Trembucker (about 8.2K) is the one with F-Spacing. It's my favorite bridge pickup in a Strat...I have them in two of my Strats. You don't need F spacing for the neck pickup...a stock 59N (about 7.4K) will do the trick. Lew

Yup . . . I've got a 59 Trembucker in my Predator . . . love it.

(Guess where I got it.)

I just got one that measures 8.97....I think the chart lists the 59' at 8.13. Several people commented that because the pickup is wider, yet has the same number of turns of wire, there is actually more wire, causing a slightly higher DC reading. There is also the possibility that my meter is not calabrated correctly.

At any rate, it's a great pickup. I'm putting in my Alvarez Dana Scoop, which is a Basswood body with a maple cap...superstrat type of guitar. I've had a regular 59' in there, and like the tone. I've got to get a new 5 way switch to get it working properly.
