  • Dual 59s in a Tele

The 59b is very deliberate and still a bit twangy in a Tele. The 59n is fat and glassy, and cleans up nicely.

Here's another tune with that same rig:

Cool little tune. It still amazes me that you escaped the 80's Hair Metal scene. Are you thinking of fattening up the bridge, CC maybe?

haha I never fit in the hair metal scene but I have a lot of respect for the great players of those days. I was more in to the alt scenes, SSt Records, alt country.. the Replacements were definitely one of my favorite bands from those days.

I currently have 2 teles. One has a custom shop bg-1400 bridge and a strat hot stack in the neck. The other has an alnico 2 JB (JB prototype) and an alnico 2 little 59 in the neck. The a2 JB is a bit like the CC.
