    assuming we're talking rythm pickup for telecasters, whats the difference between the 2?

      The Chopper is going to be cleaner and brighter than the HR. The closes thing Dimarzio makes to the HR is the Fast Track 2.

        i have the HR in my tele, tonally, it's very diff from the chopper- very chunky bottom end while maintaining a healthy midrange (lacking for some of us, to me just right).

        the chopper has that typical smooth midrange inherent in Dimarzios IMO, i didn't want that in my tele, the reason i avoided it. otherwise both the units here make very interesting tele tones.

          I don't think the hotrail is suited for rythm unless it's distorted..
