uh do you need a tremspaced pickup for a regular tremelo?

It's not absolutely necessary unless cosmetics are the biggest factor...I really can't say I hear a volume or tone loss if all poles don't line up perfectly for each string..There's alot of magnetic field going on that the strings see...

mine has got a tremelo and im using a regular duncan it dosent line up exactly but u cant tell the difference anyway.PRS McCarty (59n, 59b)
