which single coils to match a JB

what single coils for neck and middle would match a JB at the bridge in an alder super strat? this guitar will be used for rock and maybe some blues. i am trying to avoid a volume drop when switching from bridge to mid or neck.

i play thru a fender blues deville 410 and a Boss DS-1

I'd go with APS-1's, personally, but you will get that volume drop. The SSL-3's would fix that, though.

At least! I haven't heard any single coils that can really keep up with the output of a JB tho. Haven't tried it with QP's but I've tried it with Fralin Blues Specials overwound with as much wire as Lindy could get around the coils. There was still a big volume jump when I switched to the JB. Lew

How bout a lil 59' in the neck? I think that will work good with the JB.
