P 90 DilemmaLike a moth to a falme, I am curious about swapping my Soapy from my Les Paul DC. I know PRS uses a Custom Neck in their bridge and I like the sound. Should I or should I not? r what else is cool? I want that pingy nice, clean, dirty, articulate P90 sound!!!!!!! Which pup is it gonna be? Custom , vintage or hot?? Ceramic or alnico????????
    PRS McCarty
Les Paul w/ Phat Cat in bridge
Fat Strat w/ JB in bridge
G & L with Duncan distortion in bridge
    Michael Rowan Journeyman
    Gibson LP Soapbars
    Two Rock Emerald Pro
    Cornford Hurricane
    Fender Prosonic
    LOTS of pedals :saeek:

go alnico. I like vintage pickups myself, but it is all a matter of taste. The neck pickup in the bridge position won't e as hot as the bridge position so it will give you a different tone but only slightly. Good luck

I love the Customs, haven't tried the neck in any position but the neck though.
