Anyone know if a dimebucker works well in the neck/

I know it works, quite a few people on this forum use it in the neck. I'm not sure how great it sounds though... Everyone that uses it is obviously obsessed with gain.

i agree its probably the distortion, the patb-2 is another great choice for that type of sound, though i prefer the sh6

The closest Duncan IMO is the Duncan Distortion followed by the Custom.
