      If it was Snowy's it was likely his '56, though I am sure that Dave has access to any LP he wants.

      What I really dug was this "But still, it's nothing so involved that it would have made that part sound good if Dave's playing hadn't been so brilliant. That's his first take too!"

        I'm pretty certain it was a Vintage Stratocaster. And yes, the tones are absolutely stunning on that album. Shout outs to "Mother", "The Thin Ice", and "Comfortably Numb" which are without doubt, some of the finest solos not only on that album, but ever created.
