I am waiting for a Little 59 (bridge) to arrive which I will try with my Fender Texas Special Neck and Middle pickups on my 70's strat. I would like to split the Little 59 so I can get a Single coil sound in the bridge position. When splitting a Humbucker I notice Seymour Duncan use the first coil so my questions are :-
1/ Is the first coil the one nearest the bridge or not.
2/ Is the one nearest the bridge known as the rear coil.
3/ What is the difference in using the front coil as opposed to the rear coil.
And finally which method of switching would you suggest.
