One thing I am noticing guys is that an uncovered pickup seems to have more life and dynamics. I think I'll stick to open coil pickups from now on! Small but noticable.

It's been said that there's no difference... that it's an illusion from players raising their pickups once the covers are out of the way. What do you make of that?

Can you have a C5 bridge with a Seth lover neck, assuming you rarely use the middle position if ever?

Years ago guys removed covers to gain dynamics. Modern covers are more transparent, but I di hear a slight difference.
