  • how does the dimebucker sound split?

well i´m going to buy a cort axe (katana model) and a dime/59 set, so i was wondering if this pup is able to go split, and if it gets a decent tone, cause i have a 500k to put on the guitar if i can get good tones from the coil tap...

    thank you guys

It seems to me that Donzo (iirc) tried the Dime either split or in parallel and got very useable tones from it back when the Dime was originally released.

I have installed the Dime/59n into several PRS guitars with the 5 way rotary switching and the combined split tones are very nice. I have to assume that the Dime split by itself will also be very useable.
