So in an effort to get as much black and chrome as I can on this new Fat Strat I'm thinking about getting some chrome single coil pickup covers for the Antiquity II Surfers I have coming in.
Question is, does anyone use them and if so do they compromise the ability of the pickup at all?
Secondly, not that I'm finding anything, but are there chrome humbucker covers designed for a Strat? I'm not seeing them. I don't know if I want to get into soldering or fabricating a Gibson cover. I have an old Epi 335 here that I could remove but I don't even want to think of what that would involve in making sound and look good.
This thing is going to look pretty when I am through with it. All shiny and evil.
